National Driving and Traffic School is a leading provider of California DMV authorized online drivers' education. The California DMV approved program will allow a student to fulfill their mandatory drivers' education requirements at their own pace. Our students go on to successfully pass their written provisional permit test.
How the course works
The course can be accessed at anytime and can be taken at your own pace. The DMV requires you to study for at least 30 hours and our course is timed, but there is no maximum time limit to complete the course. The quizzes and final can be taken as many times as necessary in order to complete the course.
The course is divided into 11 units, with each unit containing its own quiz. The student will have to answer 80% of the questions correctly on each quiz in order to move onto the next unit. Once a student has completed the units, there is a 30 question final. A score of 80% on the final is passing.
Once the student has passed the final, a Certificate of Completion will be mailed to the address provided.
What happens after I finish the course?
Upon receiving the drivers education completion certificate, the next step is to take the written test for your learner's permit at the DMV!
Please note that you need to keep this certificate for a minimum of six months. You will need it in order to take the written test at the DMV and you will need it again when you want to take the driving test. Please be sure to store this certificate in a safe location.
