What Makes A Driver Better and Safer for The Road
Having taken Drivers Ed, I understand the importance of the course as well as what it can accomplish in making a better and safer driver on the road. Drivers Ed, also known as Drivers Ed, “reduces teen crash rates by 4.3 percent and lowers…traffic tickets received by nearly 40 percent,” according to autoblog.com, an automotive news and car shopping website. Drivers Ed prepares teens for the rules of the road such as traffic violations and keeping your eyes on your surroundings. But most importantly, it teaches drivers to stay calm and relaxed while driving. A calm driver who knows how to drive is bound to make less mistakes than someone who is overwhelmed constantly because of screaming parents teaching them how to drive. I know how parents can affect your mentality when driving, so it is important that parents know to stay calm and guide their child. This will help the driver in the future to feel more confident and less prone to make mistakes such as crashing into another car.
Another way to become a better and safer driver is to find the right car and to familiarize yourself with the car. For example, test driving the car in your neighborhood or back road before driving in traffic. If I had familiarized myself with my cousin’s car before taking my driver’s test, I would have never almost blown my chance at getting my driver’s license. Luckily, we were not in traffic. Having a better and safer passenger can help a driver as well. They could help with changing the radio and answering calls or messages for the driver while the driver does what they do best. Drive.
