Driving Education is important!

Driver
education provides awareness of how to keep everyone safe while
driving. Understanding the rules and safety precautions of the road
are necessary for everyone’s safety. I believe that a majority of
deaths related to driving comes from people being distracted or
impaired in some kind of way, such as driving under the influence.
One way I believe we can stay safe is if everyone stays alert, and is
mindful of your surroundings while driving, deaths related to driving
would drop. Also, if we try to limit the number of distractions while
driving, deaths would go down. Driving requires you to muilt-task at
all times, which can get overwhelming at times. Limiting distractions
allows you to focus more on your surroundings and drive safely
preventing any kind of car accident. I haven’t ever been in a car
accident, but my sister was driving too fast while exiting once.
Then, the car almost flipped over while she was turning the curb too
fast. She was driving too fast because she had almost missed the
exit, so she merged quickly to make it to the exit. I try to plan my
route when I drive more often. Even if I need a GPS to get my
destination, I read the directions before I set off, so I’m
familiar with every step and nothing comes as a surprise for me while
I drive. I do this so I can prevent moments like my sister’s; I
won’t have to speed to merge so I can exit properly or stop
abruptly because I almost missed a turn. Drivers ed is very
important for all drivers to know to keep everyone safe.
