I used to live in a neighborhood in an area where nature dominated most
of the area. I can go outside and see beautiful trees swaying in air
as the wind blows, with leaves glistening in the sunlight. It was a
beautiful area behind a shopping mall, an escape from society is what
I nick named it. In addition right down the street from my house was
a Trail, called the Grissom Trail. This trail was about 8 miles long
and a whole forest in all.

I use to jog this trail every day for about an hour and 30 minutes,
about 6 miles a day, and as time goes by, I start to notice all the
trash that has been building up over the past few weeks and I start
to get me a little upset because why make such a beautiful trail into
a wasteland where people just dump trash and bud light bottles. So as
I was running and I was thinking about ways to help the environment
and make sure this place stays beautiful.

So my solution was to come to the trail every Monday and Thursday to
clean the trail. I will come and pick as much trash as possible. I
also thought to myself that it would be even easier and more
convenient for the environment if I gather up a team to help me on
this project. So I gathered a few of my friends and started the first
clean up. We got about 4 miles in before we had to turn around, but
it felt so great helping out my community with no cost , I felt like
I was really doing something positive for my home.
