Change of Residency in California
The DMV requires all registered drivers to inform them if they have changed their place of residence. This is to ensure that the information they have is up to date. You are only given ten days from the date you formally transferred residence to inform them.
What options are there for notifying the DMV about an address change? You can send them a notice through mail. Print and fill out the DMV 14 form. The form also contains the address where you’ll be sending the notice.
