What is the importance of driver education in reducing the number of deaths as a result of driving?
In this modern era, driver education has become a mote point because new drivers' mostly unskilled young ones, have too high incident rates. The best way to reduce the number of deaths is through education. The community can help by ensuring drivers Education programs are taught in high school or that there are affordable programs outside of school that families can take advantage of.
What steps can be taken to reduce the number of deaths related to driving?
We can overcome this problem through formal education. We do this by reestablishing high school driver education programs and convening community information sessions with parents, teenagers, and local law enforcement to discuss the growing concern and talk about what can be done to reduce the number of deaths.
In-class education and physical vehicle training have played a pivotal role in helping drivers gain the skills and knowledge they need to keep themselves and their passengers and follow the rules and regulations of traffic. Researchers at the University of Nebraska at Lincoln recently released the results of an exhaustive survey of that state's teen drivers. Duane Shell and Ian Newman, of the Nebraska Prevention Center for Alcohol and Drug Abuse at UNL, reviewed the driving records of 151,800 Nebraska teen drivers who obtained their provisional licenses between 2003 and 2010. The two found that of those, about 53% had taken a state-approved driver's course; the rest chose the option of completing 50 hours of supervised driving with a parent or guardian. The results showed that the drivers who had taken a driver's ed course were involved in fewer crashes: 11.1% of the driver's ed group, as opposed to 12.9% of those who hadn't taken a course, had been involved in a crash. The study also showed that those who had taken a driver's ed course were considerably less likely to get a moving violation ticket. 10.4% of those who had taken a course had received a ticket, compared to 18.3% of those who hadn't.

I have not. But my older brother totaled his car and was lucky to walk away with minor injuries. To be fair to my brother, it was not his fault. A driver behind him was traveling at a high rate of speed and lost control and rear-ended him. My brother was not texting and nor was he distracted. Even though it wasn't me, I learned how dangerous driving could be.
What steps can you take to be a better and safer driver and help others become safer on the road?
As a driver who has recently obtained a learner's permit, there are two things I can do to ensure my safety and the safety of the other drivers on the road. One is to obey traffic laws, and two is to avoid texting while driving. If I need to use the phone, I will ensure the hands-free mode is available to use while driving.
Conclusions: Education and training programs may be beneficial in reducing car crashes incidents and death rates. At the same, novice drivers are needed to refine our understanding of the problem.
