I
feel that drivers ed is very important to anyone who is
interested in getting their license. If you are not well educated of
the rules of the road and car than you will risk putting yourself in
danger as well as the lives of others in danger. Making one bad
move while driving can cause an accident potentially killing someone
and can determine what the rest of your life will be like for you.
You do not want to have that guilt for the rest of your life knowing
that you killed someone, at least I know that I wouldn't.

Some
steps that can be taken to reduce the deaths related to driving can
be placing your phone in the back seat or trunk so that you are not
tempted to be distracted by it and cause an accident. For people who
are just starting out to drive and that are new drivers I highly
recommend that you are accompanied by an experienced driver anytime
that you want to drive somewhere so that you get familiar and more
comfortable with the vehicle as well as gain more knowledge of the
road rules before you start driving on your own.

I
believe that a step you can take to become a better and safer driver
would be just practice with an experienced driver. Practice to
constantly look at all of your mirrors and just being aware all
around of the surrounding spots of your vehicle. Communicate on the
roadways by using your left and right signals and looking into your
blind spots constantly. Always listen to the signs of the road and
for other traffic signals as well as in situations where you need to
stop. Follow the speed limit always to avoid getting into a collision
and getting a ticket.
