To have internet,
pictures, and friends

All in the palm of
our hands
But it comes at a
price

Our own device

Distraction,
destruction, or worse

When jenny got
behind the wheel that day

And texted her
friend to say she was on her way

She neglected to
look both ways and

At what point will
we refuse to pay

The temptation is

To install an app
that tracks our movement

To feel the speed we
are going

And block all
incoming texts, snapchats, and calls

We are only human

We get distracted
But with no
