Driver education is important to reducing the number of deaths caused by driving because it shows how important it is to be a safe driver and what happens if someone isn’t a safe driver. Educating those who are going to be putting others lives and their own lives at risk is incredibly important to make sure they understand the severity of their responsibilities and how to understand the road. The lack of education causes ignorance, which in turn causes people to make careless mistakes, but driver education assures that those on the road are aware of the guidelines of driving. 
I believe that more education is important to reduce the number of deaths caused by driving. Somehow implementing more testing to those who already have their license, such as testing them when they get their license renewed or if they have ever been pulled over for reckless driving. While it would require more people working at the DMV, which could possibly create more jobs, it would also make sure that those who already have their license are still aware of the proper way to drive a car and not become more careless as they get older. 
I have never personally been in a car accident, thankfully. My grandfather and I were in an accident when I was in middle school, that is the only car accident I have been in. I have a couple of friends and my parents drive very irresponsibly, it makes me very nervous when they drive and I try to drive instead of them so there less of a chance of getting in an accident. 
I try to encourage my friends and family to drive safer and I harass them when they do something wrong to make sure it doesn’t happen again. I am trying to help teach my younger brother how to drive and in the car, I make sure to encourage him when he does something right and he knows when he does something wrong. I make sure that friends and family know they need to drive safely when I’m in the car because while they do not care about it, I know there are other people that care about their lives when they’re driving.
