Driving
The importance of driver education is so that everyone knows what to do when they feel like they are losing control of their car. Whether you think so or not the driver education classes that are in schools do not really show you what you really need to know. The driving schools are where you need to go to receive better information and understand things better. Parking the correct way on a hill, the correct way overnight, and parallel parking are extremely important because if you park the wrong way you can damage your car.
Most car deaths are caused by people who use their phone while driving, so to reduce those number of deaths those who use their phone could get a phone stand or have someone ride with them and do whatever it is they need to do. I use my phone often when I drive only when I do not know where it is that I am going. People who use their GPS a lot usually keep their phones in their hands or in their lands. A phone is very distractive because once you are on your phone it is sometimes hard to get off.
I have had a car accident, but it was not my fault. One day after school I was on my way to get something to eat and traffic was really heavy, like heavier than usual. The rode that I was on was backed up really bad and the car behind me was driving really fast and ran straight into the back of me. I was not going to call the police until I realized that the person who hit me was him and his friend were laughing and thought it was funny. My car got totaled, their insurance paid me, and I got a new car. I love my new car, but I miss my old car.
The steps I am taking at being a better driver is only using my phone when I really need too. I am working on my road rage and how fast I drive. I tend to drive fast when I am mad and the people in the car often get scared because they do not know what is going on. I usually do not get road rage not unless the person in front of me is being a jerk and I know it. Being considerate of others while driving is safe and keeps me safe because if they do something wild I can avoid it.
