Driving is scary and intimidating enough. What people fail to realize is how much impact your vehicle holds on the road while you are driving it. So the importance of driving education is needed and it needs to be taken seriously. If you take driving lessons you lower the rate of crashes and dramatically decrease the fatality rate. Steps that can be taken to reduce this is simply pay attention and be attentive while on the road. On New Year's Eve, I got into an accident. It involved the four of us and the driver ended up hydroplaning and hitting us which then caused our car to spin in the middle of the highway multiple times. Thankfully we all made it out safely and no one was hurt but still that was irresponsible driving on their part and if they were not speeding or maybe if they payed attention on the road this whole accident could have been avoided. This is a prime reason as to why drivers education is so important and it is needed no matter where you are, also just following the basic rules and regulations of the road can make roads safer. I feel if the right necessary steps are taken and if people go through the driving process right like getting your permit practicing your driving constantly then going in to take your road test you will then feel confident enough to be on the road and i feel with confidence it can come about safety on your part. Not everyone deserves a license to drive, its a privilege not a right if it was a right everyone would have it. With the proper steps taken you can drive responsibly and responsible drivers would obey the driving laws. They would also take the appropriate steps to eventually get there like going to a driving school. That way they can teach you the right way of driving because not only does driving school teach you the rules of the road but how to always be aware of your surroundings. A lesson i learned from the accident is that you should not only focus on your driving but others on the road as well. It's just as important because you will never know how the person driving next to you is and if you're so focused on your own driving which is important you may miss what's going on around you, it's even more important to pay attention to your surroundings. Half of these car accidents could be avoided if that was the case. More people need to have that mindset and realize that. Driving school or some form of driving education will teach you the skills you need to know while on the road and it's a very important skill that you will see how much of an impact it tends to make on your driving. While driving you will see those skills being implemented and if you don't do driving school you won't see these skills being implemented or you won't even know them. It is best to know these skills early on when you first start driving so it can turn into a habit, and it could turn into a good habit. These habits include maintaining proper speed limits and avoiding distractions because that's a huge factor as to why these accidents tend to happen when you have distracted people on the road. You are driving, do you really think it's the time to start texting? Absolutely not little things like this can cost a life. When these things are implemented early on you can avoid a lot of this and it becomes a habit. A habit is something that sticks with you. Driving is something that you're constantly learning, the more you drive and the longer you are driving you are going to learn the ways of the road . Initially you would know the basics then the more you drive not only the better it gets or more easier it gets but the more you learn. Same with the regular education system of how you learn the basics and the fundamentals of various of different things, definitely depends on what type of education you had or have of course. Overall its the same and it relates to how driving school is, they both set you up for success. After taking the proper steps driving can then become a privilege given to you that will never be taken away , if done correctly. Lastly driving education lays out the foundation for responsible and effective driving, which benefits not only yourself but the society as a whole.
