What is the importance of drivers ed in reducing the number of deaths as a result of driving?


Drivers ed is a formal class or program that prepares new drivers to obtain a learner’s permit or driver’s license. In other words, it’s a class designed to prepare people for driving carefully and correctly on the road. This class ensures that you can read road signs and what to do in certain situations. Learning these things will help you keep yourself and others safe while you drive on the road.


What steps can be taken to reduce the number of deaths related to driving?

Some steps that can be taken to reduce the number of deaths related to driving are cracking down on people who speed first. People who speed don’t understand that they’re putting themselves and everyone else on the road at a high risk of an accident. Also, limiting how much people can use their phones on the road. The phone shouldn’t be anywhere near you while you’re driving, distractions are the number one causes of accidents. So if you have to use your phone for music or anything else set it up so that you won’t have to touch at all while driving. Lastly, create cars that can handle a lot more impact, a car that can keep the driver and everyone else safe.

Have you ever had an experience of being in a car accident or have seen your friends or family members driving irresponsibly?

I have never been in a car accident, but a lot of the times people who I’m in the car ith drive way too fast and irresponsibly. They’re checking their phone answering phone calls or watching videos while driving. This does startle me a bit while I’m in the car, but I try and keep my mind off of it, but I’ll be sure to drive the opposite when I begin driving.

What steps can you take to be a better and safer driver as well as help others become safer on the road?

The first step I will be taking to ensure that I’m a better and safer driver is keeping my phone in a compartment. I won’t have it anywhere in sight while I’m driving I can answer calls when I arrive at where I’m going. The next step is to drive at the speed limit I don’t plan on going above


it for any reason or below it for any reason, I’d rather me and everyone around me stays safe. Lastly, I will be reading signs and news about the roads I’ll be traveling on and acting accordingly.
