Driver Education Initiative Award: In the Driver's Seat

The purpose of driver’s education is to train and advise new drivers of the potential risks and safety measures while driving a vehicle in order to prevent accidents and crashes that may result in death. There are many steps that can be taken to reduce the number of deaths related to driving. As a driver, every individual should wear seatbelts. An individual in the driver’s seat should always be aware of his or her surroundings. It is good to be prepared for the potential risks and accidents that may occur in a certain area or on a certain road. There are many more ways to be a safe driver.
I have seen my friends driving irresponsibly way over past the speed limit. Doing so, increased the risk of deadly accidents. This will not only hurt the driver speeding, but it will also affect the other driver in the accident. There is always the possibility of death as well. There are many steps that an individual can take to be a better and safer driver as well as help others become safer on the road. One way is to communicate with other drivers by using turn signals and taking turns at intersections. Another is to drive with a cool temperance. Reckless driving will not help anyone. The main action that a driver should take is to follow the road laws.
