Drivers ed Scholarship
The importance of
drivers ed is that if we have people attend these classes, then
they will be forced to pay attention and forced to participate and
actually understand what is going on within the class. Some steps we
can do to reduce the number of deaths related to driving are getting
students to know the potential consequences that come with drinking
while driving and texting and driving. If there was some way to have
them experience it without actually experiencing it, I feel that this
will be something they will always remember before doing it. I was in
a car accident this past year and it was a traumatic experience for
me to where I was scared to get in cars and be at intersections and
it took months for me to get over it. We don’t know the reason why
we got in the wreck because the driver was driving very responsibly
and the other driver claims to also be driving correctly, but I feel
she was definitely speeding because of how bad the impact was.
