Education Scholarship Essay
In
this day and age, society’s attention toward drivers ed and
safety has started to diminish, and a sort of normality has been
associated with distracted driving/not knowing how to stay safe and
smart in certain situations. Drivers ed is incredibly important
in reducing the number of driving-related deaths because if education
was more encouraged and truly understood, people would know what to
do in certain situations or be more aware of the dangers of
distracted driving.

Often
times, when I am driving, I look over and see people on their phone,
or I’ll hear stories of when my friends have been stressed because
something was wrong with their car and they didn’t know how to
respond to the situation. I think people have the mentality of
invincibility, so they don’t make efforts to do better.
