The
importance of a Drivers ed is important. I think that
teenagers should take at least two years of Drivers ed
because more accidents happen because people are texting and driving.

The
drivers ed class will be able to show the teenagers that
texting and, driving is a stupid idea and can lead to death. Many
teenagers die due to texting and driving. The class will show the
teenagers how stupid it is and hopefully scare them and make them
drive safe and not dumb. Car accidents is the number one killer of
teens. In 2016 the number of deaths due to texting and driving was
4,853. The number has gone up since.

I
myself have been in an accident before. I was with my best friend,
her boyfriend and my boyfriend. We were coming back from a party and
we were giving one of our friends back and he was really drunk then.
My best friends' boyfriend was driving, and our drunk friend started
to yell loudly trying to get out of the car and it made my best
friends’ boyfriend pull over then, my drunk friend reached over to
drive the steering wheel and we were swerving and we ended up
catching dirt then we flipped over about three times and then we got
into an accident with a tree.

We
can take better driving steps by installing new things to a car so, a
cell phone won’t open unless the car isn’t moving. New vehicles
should have something installed to where your phone automatically
connects to it when your vehicle starts moving. The installation
would be called ‘vroom safety’ and it would inform you when
someone sends you a text message and it would ask you if you would
like to hear the message then it will give you an option if you want
to reply or delete the message. The voice call would let you know
when someone is calling you and two buttons would be on your steering
wheel, one would be the answer button and the other would be a
decline button so, you have two options when someone calls you but it
will also tell you who is calling you and you wouldn’t need to look
away from the road.
