In order to continue safe driving practices, driver education should be seen as the most important thing when it comes to reducing car accidents or deaths. Driver education is of the utmost importance as it leads to fewer deaths and accidents because you are knowledgeable of what to do and what not to do on the road. It will teach you how to obey road signs and traffic signals in order to be the safest possible driver you can be. By continuing your driver education, you can learn the different steps needed in order to reduce the number of deaths related to driving: Practice safe driving by not being distracted by a phone or any other device. Focus your attention on the road instead of conversing with another person. If listening to music, put it at a lower volume in order to increase your focus. Personally, I have been fortunate enough to have never been in a car accident. However, I do know that I have been in dangerous situations where my family member or friend has used their cell phone while driving. This reckless action during driving can cause them to be distracted and either slow down or speed up when they aren’t supposed to. This not only affects the passengers in the car, but also those driving around us. This leads me to my next point in which I say that there are many ways in order for you to become a better driver or to help someone else as well. Reading up on an updated drivers’ handbook will help you stay up to date on any minor changes in driving or just refresh your memory. If you see your family member or friend become distracted while driving then politely tell them to pay more attention on the road instead of their distractions.
