Drivers ed is Important It is very important to attend drivers ed classes because it reduces the number of deaths as a result of driving. When I was learning how to drive with my instructor, they taught me crucial lessons such as looking in your blind spots before you change lanes, and when to yield to other traffic. As a result of my training, I always check my blind spots before changing lanes which has saved me from many accidents on the highway. One time I was driving with my mom while she was talking on the phone, so I told her kindly to pay attention to the road and put down her phone. By completing drivers ed, I learned that according to Oregon law it's illegal to drive while holding your cell phone. I saw my mom driving irresponsibly, so I took drivers ed to understand the Oregon laws of the road and to improve her driving skills as well. Now, I have my license and I am committed to using my driving knowledge for the improvement of others and myself so that our roads can be safer!
