Driver’s Education is Important

Driver’s education could not be more important. It is a necessary class which everyone should be required to take. Without drivers education, drivers would not be as safe as they are now. People must learn how to drive properly and safely, and that is what drivers education classes do. They teach new drivers how to be responsible and safe drivers at all times. If drivers have this education, deaths can be reduced.
Seat belt laws should be more enforced. If people wore seatbelts in their cars, crashes would lead to less fatalities. Police officers should pull people over and ticket people for not wearing their seatbelts. If it were a better enforced law, people would wear their seat belts more often. Seatbelts are extremely necessary in bringing car crash fatalities down.
My cousin was in a car accident and was killed due to a drunk driver. The driver ran a red light and collided with the side of my cousin's truck. My cousin was a bus driver and he used to drive semi-trucks. He was an amazing driver and his life was taken due to someone who was not a safe driver. People should not drive drunk and if they do, along with other consequences, should have to take drivers education once again.
To become a better driver, people should always wear a seatbelt and call out those who do not. If drivers or passengers set an example by saying the car can not be set into motion until everyone is buckled up, there would be less fatalities in car crashes. Another way to stay safe while driving is to call out the driver on irresponsible behavior. If they do not have both hands on the wheel or are getting angered by another driver, call them out. Tell the driver they need to be safe or they need to pull over. If passengers called out the driver for unsafe behavior, there would be less car crashes overall. This is an extremely effective way to prevent unsafe driving.
Passengers who have taken drivers education can take calling out the driver even further. The passenger has taken the classes too so they know what is legal and what is not. If the driver does not use their blinker, call them out. Tell them they should have used it and let them know why. If the driver tries to use their phone, offer to do it for them. Do not let them get distracted by their phone. Ask them to turn it off next time so they do not get distracted by it. Always call unsafe driving behavior out when a passenger. It can greatly reduce car crashes if the driver is paying attention.
Drivers education is an amazing program. It teaches drivers how to be responsible when behind the wheel and make sure they know what they are doing. Without it, there would be many more crashes than there are now. Everyone should be required to take drivers education, and if they drive irresponsibly, they should be required to retake the class.
