Driving is what helps people get around as a new driver, you need to know what the laws are and what risk factors there are when you are on the road as a driver. Learning how to drive isn't over overnight it takes time to get used to especially if you are not used to the car you cannot expect to drive perfectly after an hour it will take days, nights, hours, minutes, and seconds. Something you need to master about driving before you can be a good driver is. Make sure your seatbelt is always on, make sure your car is in the middle of the lane, make sure you always have your blinker on when turning or hazards for accidents or if you slow down because of an animal crossing, you need to be able to park in a busy parking lot and any parking lot, etc. Also, before taking off look at your car and make sure it´s running perfectly fine before you take off as in gas, air in tires, etc. You need to understand and learn how to drive hands-on with everything I listed and more before you can take the test and drive on the road with or without an instructor or legal guardian. It´s important for your safety. For the safety of the road and every human life, we should make it cheaper for driver education so that everyone can afford it for their child to learn. In the state of Michigan to be able to get your license under the age of 18 you must take segment one and segment two. Segment one is $375.00 you get a packet you have class 3 times a week and after the first week of class you start booking your drives you need to complete 6 drives with an instructor for segment one before it ends at the end of segment one you have to take a test and if you pass the knowledge test and finish your 6 drives you will get a completion certificate a week from that day you pass and finish your drives. Also once you get your completion letter you go to the secretary of state and get your permit once you get your permit you have to wait 6 months before you can take your road test to get your license. Segment one is a month long compared to segment two which is 3 days long, Segment two is $75.00 and you learn about the dangers of the road and common sense like don't drink and drive or smoke and drive. It also teaches you what it looks like when you do get pulled over and you get tested for drugs and alcohol. At the end of the class, you take a small test and when you're done you get it graded and if you pass you get a completion certificate a week from that day. It should be mandatory so we do not have irresponsible drivers driving on the road that cause speeding, cause accidents, hit animals and are careful with their surroundings.
I have never been in an accident but, I have seen multiple including driving dumb as hitting a deer that weighs three hundred and four pounds and the car is going forty-five miles per hour not only will the damage to the animal but, also the car will get hit and smashed. You, need to think about the people who got hurt and who got injured during the accident. Another example is eating and driving when you go get a burger it might taste good but, when the ketchup hits your pants you're looking down and now that person has their eyes off the road and bam they smash into the back of another car and your airbags go off and now your food is ruined and your injured so it´s best you get food and go home then eat it. Last but, not certainly not least texting while driving when your best friend texts you about drama and you pick up your phone to see it. You do not realize a car pulled out in front of you and the next thing you know you hit the back of them so now you have to wait for the drama and deal with paying for the damages to your car. Was damaging your car worth it? No so wait till you get somewhere safe to where you can answer. You should overall be aware of where you're at, whether you are driving safely, and who´s with you before you put yourself in a situation to hurt someone or yourself.
The steps I will take while driving in a car are to check my mirrors by looking over my shoulder and looking through each mirror from left to right until I look through all three mirrors. I do the speed limit and make sure I am surroundings, where I am and who I am in the car with. I would never clear before I turn into a new lane. I am a careful driver no matter who I have in the car when I am driving. Not speeding will help not resending someone or hitting an animal when aware. Also, make sure to have brights on at night. You, need to be careful and responsible while driving.
