According
to statisical research it has been reported that more than 2,739
teens from the ages of 16-19 have died or been injured in a car
accident.The importance of drivers ed is to create an effort to
reduce the amount of teen deaths or injuries caused by mobile
accidents. There are multiple steps that can be taken to reduce the
number of deaths related to driving such as obeying traffic laws,
avoiding distractions, drive well rested, steering clear of alcohol
and drugs, being more alert and focused while driving. No I’ve
never had an experience of being in a car accident or seen my friends
or family drive irresponsibly. The steps that I can take to be a
better driver is to practice, stay off my phone while driving,
keeping my car up to par, keeping your hands properly positioned,
keeping a safe distance from the other cars, and keeping all your
distractions minimized.

While
driving you need to be aware of your weather conditions, traffic
conditions, surrounding of your area, you have to drive for yourself
and others. The most important thing to do before driving is buckling
your seat belt. Also, you shouldn’t drive while angry becuase it
can result in having road rage. Many accidents can be avoided by
letting people get over into the lane that you’re in when they
signal to do so. You also should do the speed limit, if you feel like
you should speed maybe you should leave earlier to get to your
destination on time.
