Steps that can be taken to reduce the number of deaths, serious injuries, and minor injuries are paying full attention to the road which includes, not being not one’s phone, texting, calling, eating while driving and trying to use a GPS. Following traffic laws are a major step that can be taken to minimize the amount of death, serious injuries, and injuries by driving the speed limit, being on the right side of the road, and using your signals when turning, only going when the stop light is green or maybe yellow which means no running any red stop lights. Other steps that can be taken to minimize the amount of death, serious injuries, and injuries is to avoid being under the influence and driving, to be specific drinking alcohol, taking some sort of drug(s), or doing both drinking alcohol and taking some sort of drug(s). More steps that can be taken to lessen the the number of deaths, serious injuries, and minor injuries is to be safe by wearing a seat belt, sitting in one’s seat correctly, being sure that a child, children, or a baby is in the required and the correct sit for their weight, and height. Additional steps that can be taken to reduce the number of deaths, serious injuries, and minor injuries is to make sure that your car is up to date on all the repairs on the engine, wheels, windows, doors, and windshield wipers. Further steps that can be taken to reduce the number of deaths, serious injuries, and minor injuries while driving is to have a good attitude, which means to try and not road rage. Road rage has caused lots of injuries, and given many people scares because of people with bad attitudes, and people who cannot stand when others are rude, for example say someone cut another person off and then the second person tried to drive the first person off the road. Road rage is serious, and very dangerous.
I have seen and heard of family members and extended family members that have gotten into car accidents, or driving irresponsibly. Once during a rainy day, when the roads were pretty slippery, and possibly icy, the car I was in the backseat of started to skid on the road. It was an accident that was hard to prevent because of the rain, and icy roads which means that one can not control the weather so they weren't able to prevent the accident other than not driving on the road or maybe driving slower on the road. One thing that I heard was that my cousin had crashed his car twice.
There are very many steps that can be taken to be a better and a safer driver as well helping others while out on the road driving. One step that someone can take to be a better and a safer driver as well helping others while out on the road driving is to pay attention to your surroundings, always looking 20 to 30 seconds ahead of yourself as well as looking to the sides to watch out for pedestrians, people on bikes, people on skateboards, and people on scooters. Another step that someone can take to be a better and a safer driver as well helping others while out on the road driving is to keep your speed down, meaning not going above the speed limit and not going too slow, causing traffic to slow down, being near or at the speed limit. An additional step that someone can take to be a better and a safer driver as well helping others while out on the road driving is to not rely on other drivers, do not rely on other people to see your car, do not rely on other people to be paying attention to the road because they may not be.
