Despite my family's fortunate avoidance of major car accidents or instances of irresponsible driving, I have witnessed firsthand the consequences of reckless behavior among other drivers. If it were not for my mom’s skill behind the wheel we may not be here today due to someone else’s reckless driving; someone who was not even held accountable for their recklessness. She was a great role model for me when learning how to drive and continues to be due to her flawless track record of no accidents and safe driving. First and foremost, I commit to practicing safe driving habits, including obeying speed limits, avoiding distractions such as texting or talking on the phone, and never driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs - or ever using them for that matter. Additionally, I commit to encouraging my friends and family members to adopt similar safe driving practices and offer to serve as a designated driver when necessary. By continuously prioritizing safety and advocating for responsible driving practices, I strive to not only improve my own driving skills but also to contribute to a safer road environment for all motorists.
