How Human Error and Unsafe
Driving Relates to fatalities
Every
day, thousands of people die from fatal automotive vehicle crashes.
According to the 2016 NHTSA Fatality Report 94 to 96 percent of all
vehicle crashes are due to human error. While learning to drive from
loved ones and friends can be an easy way to learn, going to a
certified academy for driving it’s a great way to learn safe,
defensive driving. By practicing defensive driving you’ve learned
in courses such as decision driving, you can take the necessary
steps, such as always wearing you seat belt in vehicles or making
sure all inspections are up to date on your car. By remaining calm in
the face of reckless driving, or paying attention to your
surroundings while driving, you can show others the correct way to
drive is through a calm, safe manner. Driving while intoxicating or
on heavy prescription drugs, you can find yourself incapable of
driving properly and increasing the risk of an automobile accident.

While
driving, it is best to make ration decisions and remember not
everyone on the road will be thinking any better than you are so you
should always be on the watch for human error accidents. These can be
caused by switching lanes without checking all blind spots and
mirrors, or just by driving over ice and over correcting your swerve.
Being safe while driving will not only set an example for your kids
but also show other drivers how to be safe and proper while driving.
