How important is drivers education
Drivers education is intended to provide knowledge from driving handbooks that prepares students for the drivers/permit test. This is the most important step when you are preparing to take on the driving experience. Drivers education teaches you road signs, traffic signals, and right of way. It also teaches you how to merge, change lanes, turn, and even basic car safety and maintenance.
Drivers education teaches students how to properly work a vehicle under any circumstances. So having this knowledge and actually using it can prevent serious accidents and prevent death. Some tips on staying safe and preventing accidents are to stay off your phone, two hands on the wheel, try not to have the radio too loud, and to always be aware of your surroundings.
I feel like the majority of people have witnessed a situation where someone is driving irresponsibly. To stay safe and prevent accidents we have to start speaking up and standing up for what’s right. Think about the bigger picture, you can be saving someone’s life just by telling the driver to put their phone away or to properly position their hands on the wheel.
If we can get more people to look into drivers education the roads would be 1000% safer. Studies show that drivers Ed has reduced teen crashes and traffic violations. Young drivers who haven’t completed drivers Ed are more likely to get a traffic ticket.
