How to improve driving safety

What is the importance of driver education in reducing the number deaths because of driving?

The importance of driving education is to prepare the youth to drive and be safe along with knowledge of what to do when a accident or car problem happens, providing a safter and less stressful future for the new generation of drivers. In order to drive the class should provide this witch in general should and has reduced the amount of car crashes. according to the university of Nebraska (Lincoln) they reported that driving ed classes reduce car crashes significant in different crash scenarios, compared to people who did not take the driving ed test, the test also found that people who do not take the classes are convicted more in accident scenarios then ones who do, by almost 40%. “
Not all states have it only 31 of the 50 generally reducing accidents with the states, but every state treats it differently like you could skip the driving tests because the other 19 make it mandatory but its not a class its mostly a certain amount of hours behind the wheel witch does not help them when they do get in an accident as some might drive away not knowing its illegal, and help them witch tips to do when the car haves an issue, making it a safer driving experience for all.

What steps can be taken to reduce the number of deaths related to driving?

Steps taking that could make a impact is making phones inaccessible when in a moving vehicle, because car mode is almost always forgotten, and because the phone manufacturer are spying on us, they should be able to detect who is the driver, with this in play the phone will only be able to become accessible is when a car has stopped, reducing phone usage in return providing better driving safety and lower phone usage, people with be upset for the awhile as driving with a phone is a the most common thing I ever see when driving.

Another and better way is to make a new law if your caught driving with your phone on, you should pay a hefty fine of 3k or get your revoked license making the people who do it regret they ever were on their phone improving public safety, and with todays economy take forever to recover teaching others not to be on their phones as in the USA its publicly shamed yet super common.

Another solution and a odd one at most is reducing the lights in the front of the car or tint the windows of older cars because as the new cars get out, they headlights are much brighter than older cars blinding people in smaller cars, witch in turn is a good indicator that the brighter headlights should be restricted or dimmed to make night driving significantly safer.

Have you ever had an experience of being in car accident or have seen your friends or family members driving irresponsibly?

No, but almost got into 2 one would’ve been with my teenage neighbor, she was looking down when she turned out of the neighborhood and as I sow her head she never even looked up even for a millisecond the entire time I saw her.
Another situation I almost got into another accident because someone blinded from the other side of the road, and I couldn’t see anything but the green arrow in front of me and because it was so bright I couldn’t see if he was coming closer I slammed on my break before it was too late to get out of his way. Unfortunately even behind me is super dangerous blinding my left eye from the rear view mirror can’t see cars from left of my car both of these cars were super new about 2020-2023.

What steps can you take to be a better and safer driver as well as help others become safer on the road?

Honestly I consider myself a pretty good driver, but unfortunately the new car headlights make it really hard being safe, so I could get tinted windows reducing the glare I get from the headlights, but for everyone else put a new law that makes driving with a phone super expensive and get a revoked license, I swear drivers in Utah and on their phones contently when driving they even made phone holder that goes on the dash to hold the phone while driving still distracting the driver and most people are texting on them anyways so what help are they doing.

I could start talking about and public shame the ones that are on their phones while driving and possibly run a organization that stops this, I could do anything from making an organization to talking trash about it. But that’s pretty much it in Utah.
