Driver’s
Education is important because many car accidents can be prevented by
safe driving practices. Many states have already started implementing
laws to help make driving safer. One example is hands free laws that
prevents drivers from using their phones unless it is via a Bluetooth
device. Additionally, it is extremely important that everyone
understands that driving after having even one or two drinks is not
worth the risk of their life or the life of others. I have been
fortunate enough that I have not directly been affected by a car
accident. However, I do know of someone that was in an accident that
almost killed one of the four people in the vehicle that night. It
shook up our small town as many people were close with these people.
One thing I can do to be a safer driver is to stay off the phone
unless absolutely necessary. This will prevent me from being
unnecessarily distracted while driving.
