The
importance of drivers ed is to be able to teach the new
driver’s what the safety of driving is, how to do it, and what
could happen if you do it wrong. It is reducing the number of deaths
because it teaches teenagers hands-on driving, and verbally teaches
about driving. Some parents do not have time to teach their kids to
drive, so they’ll send their teens to driving school. It teaches
everything you need to know about driving. It even teaches you the
laws about drugs and alcohol for the fines and how much time you can
spend in jail for this. It teaches you what to do if you get into a
car wreck. So, recommend your teen to go to driving school, it has
everything you need to know.
The
steps that can be taken to reduce the number of deaths in driving is
don’t let your teen drive with you unless they have a permit or
license, to stop careless driving, and know when you’re on the road
it is important because everyday you step foot in the car, you’re
risking your life. Don’t let your teen drive without a permit or
license because if something happens to him/her and you, you have a
huge fine to pay, and their license can be pushed back 1 year or
more. If they have gotten into a car wreck that means that’s the
parents fault. They let their kids do it and now they have to pay for
someone else's insurance, and your own. Stop careless driving because
in other cars around you that is someone else’s grandpa, grandma,
cousin, sister, etc. It’s not so cool for careless driving when
something happens to you and the other person. Drive right or don’t
drive at all. You risk your life everyday when you start to drive on
the road. So take precautions and be mindful of others.

I
have never been in a car accident myself. I have seen my own family
driving irresponsibly. Some of my family drive with their knees,
while on their phone. Some drive on their phone the whole time, and
some drive carelessly and do what they want on the road. I let them
know that this is not safe driving and their risking their own lives
along with their children's lives. But as adults they say “I've
been driving long enough to know how to drive”. But really they
don’t know what could happen one of these days. Everyday is a new
day and you should be careful whether you know how to drive or not.
The
steps I can take to be a safer driver when I'm on the road is to keep
both hands on the wheel, use my signals, take caution everywhere I
go, follow the speed limits, and stay off my phone while driving. All
of these things are important to do when driving. It can stop so many
dangerous things from happening while you’re out running errands,
going to school, going to work, etc. To help others become safe on
the road I recommend them going to drivers ed school wherever they
are, to care while on the road, and to be kind to other people. So
while you’re in the driver’s seat treat others as you would want
to be treated on the road.
