There are many different steps for one to obtain their driver’s license. Each step of the way has to be completed to go on to the next. It starts by going to drivers ed, getting your permit, driving with parents to get the experience and then taking the drivers ed test to get your actual driver’s license. With the determination and driver’s experience, having the confidence to take on the responsibility of driving on your own is possible.
With driving comes with many factors that contribute to the risk when you drive. Some risks are obvious, such as bad weather and road conditions. Keeping your vehicle in top condition is very important. Making sure your brakes are working, your tires are properly inflated and your windows are cleaned. The better condition of your car, the more the car will give you more safe control when driving. Anticipate the actions of other drivers. Good driver’s identify cues helping them predict how the reaction of the other diver might be. Many drivers tend to act without thinking or communicating and don’t know that is very important to driving, so you must use the clues around you on the road. Taking steps to protect not only yourself but others around you. Wearing a seatbelt can save you and your passengers from death or serious injury. Making sure to do safety check each time you get in your car which includes the following: seat adjustment, mirror adjustment and putting on your seat belt and making sure everyone in the car has them on too. Driving only when you are in the right set of mind. Check to make sure you feel alert and aware. If your overly tired or thinking about upcoming events or even things that’s happening to you in the present and it’s affecting your train of thought you need not to be on the road endangering yourself and other drivers on the road. Making a conscious effort to develop your driving skills, because you have your license doesn’t mean you know everything about the road or shouldn’t stop learning new things about it. When driving always be aware of your surroundings and paying attention to the road. The more people would take driving serious the safer the road would be for everyone. Steps can be taken to reduce the number of deaths related to driving.
In today’s generation there are many car accidents and irresponsible drivers on the road and all the death rate of drivers can decrease if all the steps above are executed.
