Something as simple as a drivers ed course in high school could drastically improve the amount of automotive accidents that happen every day by informing kids the dangers of it. I also think it should be way more challenging to get your driver's license, I got mine way too easily. One example of bad judgment on the DMV’s part is the cause of my first accident. Just after i got to school in the morning i parked my car, and one of my friends wasn’t paying attention and accidentally hit the gas instead of the brake and he rear ended me. As you can imagine I was furious, thankfully he just got insurance. Along with that many things can be done to make the roads safer. First of all, everyone should wear their seat belt no matter the circumstance. Secondly every driver needs to pay attention, keep their eyes glued to the road, and anticipate anything that can go wrong. And never drive under the influence, that includes lack of sleep.
