Accidents
are unavoidable - nobody is perfect. But educated drivers are much
less likely to get into crashes than drivers that have gaps in their
understanding. The first step to reducing driving related deaths is
to educate drivers, both new and old. It is never too late to learn
proper driving technique and skills that will help people stay safe
on the road. Personally, I have never experienced any type of driving
accident, but as a new driver, I have had some close calls. When I
had trouble understanding a certain aspect of driving, I would turn
to my parents or the internet for help, which has led to much fewer
instances. Helping others become safer drivers is easy: when you
notice something wrong in their technique, tell them! Letting others
know where they are lacking knowledge is key to making the roads a
safer place for everyone.
