Driving is a part of almost everyone’s daily life. Adults have to drive back and forth to work every single day of the week. Students have to drive back and forth to school a lot. They have to drive to get to places that they want to hang out with their friends at. People have to drive to places to where they just absolutely need to be. So, since everyone has to drive everywhere, don’t you think we should all arrive safely to wherever were going?
How people get their license varies from state to state. I think that drivers ed should be taught in schools no matter what. For one, teenagers would learn a few things that they never thought about when their parents were teaching them to drive. It should be in a controlled area where the instructor can help them out and not let them crash into anything. They could get a lot more practice than they might be able to at home. They can be taught good habits of driving so that the bad ones don’t start to stick at a very young age. And at the end of the course if the instructor thinks they are good enough then they can give them their license.
Deaths can be reduced by always practicing good habits. Obviously, sometimes things just happen, but always doing good habits can help reduce the number of deaths at least. Like using your blinker so someone knows your going over so that you don’t accidentally get bumped into. Always making sure that everything is clear if you are in a shaky area so that no one t bones you is another safe one to practice. Deaths can also be reduced by being in a calmer mood. Sometimes when people are angry, they tend to drive bad and make pretty poor choices while behind the wheel which could get them or another driver killed. Instead, they should calm down and relax before they start driving so that they can continue to make good choices while driving.
Everyone should make it to where they need to be as safely as possible. Schools should have drivers ed as a course so teenagers can learn to drive in a safe environment and learn good habits. Deaths can be reduced if everyone on the road just makes good choices while driving. Driving should be one of the safer everyday activities that a lot of people in the world have to do.
