Driving Safe


There
are many different things when it comes to reckless driving. Many
people

do
not realize the dangers of these. Many do not care and do what they
want. There are many


people at risk when people
decide they want to be reckless. The two main ideas are, drunk

driving,
and texting and driving. These two have caused a majority of people
to be injured, or

even
killed, all because one person did not want to follow the rules.

When
it comes to texting and driving, it can be a very dangerous
situation. The person who is doing so is being very distracted by
something that can wait. Most of the time when involved with a wreck,
the person texting is not too harmed, which leaves an innocent person
dead. Over the years people have developed very smart ways to make
sure people do not text and drive, but most of the time it is
optional. I think that they should make it mandatory for when someone
is driving. Instead of being able to turn it off whenever they
please, it should just set automatically, and the person can’t use
apps that are distracting. This option might save millions of lives.

Drunk
driving is something you hear about the most. They advertise not to
do it, but many do not listen or abide by the rules. When someone
gets into a wreck that involves being drunk, most likely the other
person, or the passengers of the drunk driver will die, again causing
an innocent person to be killed. Drunk driving occurs when most
likely someone has went to a party and has no one to take them home,
or feels obligated to drive themselves. I feel as if there should be
apps in the phone, that will help reduce the number of drunk drivers,
and help save lives. With an app like this though it could be hard.
How would they know when the person is drunk? Well the person could
have to enter in if they are going to be drunk, and when it is time
to go the app would call an Uber or any taxi services.

With
these strategies many lives could be saved. Reckless driving is
something very dangerous and not stuff people should joke about. More
should be educated on it, and learn the importance of safe driving.
