It is possible to experience multiple driver personalities on the road in a mere car ride. From the speeding hot head inches away from the back bumper to the Sunday stroll driver taking a relaxing drive around the town , and everyone in between. With limitless types of drivers, the proper way to react to each driver can also be endless, depending on the situation at hand, but. In contrast, when it pertains to fatal accidents on a yearly bases. We must look at the facts to take steps in saving more lives.

As it pertains to drivers ed being useful in reducing the number of fatal accidents. I do not believe it is significantly crucial in attaching drivers ed once an individual has shown the proper skills to drive a vehicle, thus earning said driver's license. With so many factors and variables that lead to fatal accidents. I do not believe it is logically acceptable to say, "If person X had known information Y or Z, it would have prevented a fatal accident."

Moreover, according to the U.S. Department of Transportation, the numbers show that male drivers are more likely to get into fatal accidents than their female counterparts. (U.S. Department of Transportation. "Number of Drivers Involved in Fatal Crashes in U.S. Road Traffic from 1995 to 2017, by Sex." Statista, Statista Inc., 14 May 2020, https://www-statista-com.db15.linccweb.org/statistics/192074/drivers-in-fatal-crashes-in-us-road-traffic-by-gender-since-1992/) Therefore, in order to reduce the number of fatal deaths in the U.S. It would deem helpful to aim incentives towards male drivers. Such as lowering the insurance rates of driving "safely" by not adding infractions to their driver's record. Thus, rewarding the good and possibly saving a life in the process too.

Granted, I understand that not all drivers would like the incentive type method, but, I would believe they prefer it rather than having more police to man areas. Drivers can also take steps of practicing defensive driving when able. That can mean stopping at stop signs, monitoring the vehicle's speed, or following the simple etiquette of driving normally. More importantly, in this modern age of technology, It can be extensively helpful at learning to drive without being distracted with a cellphone or the new gadgets in the driver's hub (i.e., Bluetooth, Voice text, and more.)

To clarify, I do not believe there is a correlation in drivers ed and reducing fatal accidents. Though what I do see in reducing the number of deaths is to incentivize drivers to practice suitable driving habitats, or perhaps have more police to roam areas. Lastly, to become a better driver, people should work on just driving rather than multitasking with the many distractions that may come up and possibly cost someone their lives. All in all, to have fewer deaths is going to take some will power and a little motivation.
