I would first like to start off my essay by introducing myself, My nameis Azade Brown and I am an upcoming senior at Step of Faith ChristianAcademy. I plan on attending a four year college/university where Ican pursue my dreams of becoming an elementary educator. I am lookingforward to being able to study a major I have had a passion for sinceI was a child. Attending college and receiving scholarships willprovide me the opportunity to grow and learn in many ways.
I believe that driving education is important because safety is one ofthe most essential factors that one should look at when operating avehicle. Safe driving is something to be taken seriously and not onlysaves lives but, provide other benefits that can save money. When itcomes to operating a vehicle, one could either be a good driver orsomeone who does not know how to operate a vehicle. There are manylaws created to ensure a safe and pleasurable driving experience.Some are avoiding aggressive behavior, alertness, and vehiclefollowing distance, speed, and special driving situations.
Many factors contribute to the degree of risk when you are operating avehicle. Some of the obvious would be bad weather and poor roadways.However, you can reduce the number of deaths related to driving byusing your indicator lights more frequently, drive the speed limit,be more observant, wear your seatbelt although it might beuncomfortable, avoid any type of drugs that would cause you to bementally unstable, and never use your mobile phone it is adistraction and a 400% chance that you can cause a collision.
I have had a driving accident experience coming back from a familyvacation at Myrtle Beach, SC. My family did not act in airresponsible manner but the person who hit us did. He was a drunkdriver. The guy hit us causing the front of my family’s van to betorn off in the front but it was repairable. The drunk driver didn’teven check on my family and I to see if we were alright or apologizefor what he had caused. My mom suffered with leg pain and mygrandmother suffered from extreme breast pain.
Steps that I can take to become a more efficient and safe driver is to stayoff my phone, not blasting my music so loud, drive the speed limit,and look around before moving. I can help others by talking to themabout safer driving and complying to the rules.
In conclusion, please take operating a vehicle seriously because you arenot the only one on the highways. I hope that my essay helped someoneout and that I that you all will consider me for your scholarship.Thank you!
