The importance of being educated on driving safety is to preserve
human life, when there are people driving around that are not
educated on how to drive safely then people can get hurt and killed.
When driving and being a passenger in a car everyone should wear a
seatbelt and sit in their seat correctly, not with their feet up on
the dash. Another thing that people don’t think about sometimes
when it comes to safety is properly using blinkers, there have been
multiple occasions in which I am driving and the person ahead of me
doesn’t use a turning signal and just suddenly slows and turns
which can cause an accident. I have seen many high school students
and full-grown adults who drive around while texting on their phones,
people have swerved into my lane because they are not paying
attention to the road. I believe that we all need to take
responsibility for our own safety, we shouldn't rely on the other
drivers on the road to do what they are supposed to do because as
long as we have that attitude there will continue to be lives taken
that shouldn’t be.
