your life one way or another. Drivers ed is important in
reducing the number of deaths as a result of driving. It shows
upcoming drivers that there is so much responsibility being behind
the wheel. Your life, as well as everyone else around you is at a
higher risk because everyone is thinking about themselves while
driving. Having drivers ed helps those who learn, the
precautions of driving and everything they need to know before
getting behind the wheel.

There
are many quite easy steps that can be taken to reduce the number of
deaths related to driving. Buckling up is very important because
while driving, everyone is in their own driving world. This leads to
the next safety tip. Thinking how other drivers might possibly be
thinking. For example on the highway if you see that a car is trying
to get in front of you, it's better to let him pass than you trying
to pass him. Driving to the speed limit, following driving signs and
following all rules on the road also reduces the risk of accidents
leading to deaths.
I
was in a horrifying car accident when I was about seven. This was a
traumatizing experience because I was minutes away to losing my
mother. My mother and I were injured the worst. The cause of the
accident was a driver was on her cellphone. We were driving about 75
mph on the highway and she hit us on the side causing the car to
swerve off the road and roll down a small hill. To this day I have a
scar on my face reminding me of this day.

Steps
that I take now is always being aware of my surroundings on the road.
If I see that there are crazy drivers, I let them pass me and
continue to calmly drive. I am never on my phone or doing anything
that can distract me and lead to another accident. I would never want
to be the cause of someone else's misery of a car accident. I also
assure that I am physically and mentaly stable before driving. I
don't drive when I am exhausted or upset because that can reflect on
the way that I am driving. I always remind my friends and family to
wear their seatbelts and to get off their phones. It takes a lot of
responsibility to drive and everyone's life is important and should
not be put at a higher risk because of someone else's
irresponsibility.
