Driver education is essential to all who want to rule the road. This form of basic education is not only necessary for getting a license, but many of the tips learned, could or will very much save one’s life. Teens are very much seen as the at-risk age group when it comes to wrecks and accidents. Cases could be made for things like impatience, overconfidence, and plain just not paying attention however, I believe that the main problem is just inexperience on the road. This makes driving education one of the most essential things to create safer drivers. If one is put in an environment where safety, alertness, and attentiveness are some of the key traits emphasized, this will create fundamental discipline, this discipline turns to habit, and this habit will become memory. In turn, making safety and awareness first to come to mind out of those who drive.

When it comes to safer driving, focusing on what's around and ahead, as well as, execution of basic traffic laws are key. As they say, “keep your head on a swivel,” most accidents can be prevented if one keeps proper attention to what's around them. This involves watching those in front, behind, and keeping a keen eye on the mirrors to see to your sides. Keeping alert and spacing properly can lead to a driver avoiding most accidents before they even occur. Furthermore, if one obeys traffic laws they can avoid causing most wrecks altogether. Stopping at stoplights, making turns when necessary, and obeying speed limits very much negate the risks of driving entirely. However even if you are being safe, be sure to keep cautious of those around you.

I personally have seen many people around me dring unsafe. My dad has driven with his knee while eating a burger before. A person I knew had learned from her mon that she didn’t need to wear a seatbelt at all for any reason. Many of my friends get on their phones not only during the wait at traffic lights, but as they are cruising down the road itself. These are all very unsafe driving habits to have, all of which can very easily result in an accident causing injury, or possibly even taking a life.
