I believe that the easiest way to limit the amount of driver deaths is to stress the issue that is distracted driving. I feel that there should be harsher punishment for being caught with a cell phone in your hand. Distracted driving is a plague among teams that has been perpetuated among recent years. I believe that distracted driving can be cut down significantly if we make the punishing with more malice in the affairs of texting and driving. It would be a lead by example situation. My mom and brother were hit by a drunk driver one day, luckily no one was hurt but it has forever scared me from the pitfalls of distracted driving or driving under the influence. I feel if I spread my knowledge about distracted driving to my peers, I will not only be helping those around me become better drivers, but also make myself a better driver.
