Safe Driving is Self-Explanatory

The importance of a
drivers ed in reducing driving based deaths is
self-explanatory: people tend to make dangerous decisions when they
don't know what they're supposed to be doing. So the best way to
reduce driving deaths is to make sure people do know what
they're doing. I think the best way to achieve this would be to have
it so people don't just take one driving test when they're 16 and
then never have to prove themselves again.

I've never
personally been in or seen a driving accident, but my mom has a habit
of not turning into the most immediate lane because it “Makes her
feel safer.”, which is ludicrous and missing the point entirely.
The steps I can take to be a better driver are to keep doing what
I've been doing, because nothing bad has happened yet so I guess I'm
doing it right. As for encouraging others, there isn't much you can
do there. When you tell someone they're bad at driving, they just
don't listen, ever.
