Safe
driving is important especially towards young adults or teenagers
under 25. When you are 25, auto insurance becomes much more cheaper
and universal, but until then, treat the companies as your
boss--follow the rules until you are mature enough to fight for your
position. When I view my parents’ driving history, they have been
in very few accidents; When I view my cousins’ driving history,
they have been in very dangerous accidents even though the gap
between parents and children are decades apart.

Driver
education reduces the number of deaths as a result of driving because
many deaths result in breaking the rules like drinking, using phones,
and not reading the signs. When we took driving ed, the written test,
and the driving test, we tried really hard to study like reading the
whole DMV booklet, watching driving videos, and even paying to learn.
But once we get our license, we neglect the rules and driver
education, resulting in a risk of accidents.


To
reduce the number of deaths related to driving, there would be
restrictions. Some of these restrictions include reducing alcohol
production and consumption, limit anyone under 25 to drive from 12 to
6, and . Other than restrictions, improvements can be made like
making signs bigger, requiring another driving test for every license
renewal, and having extra paddings on cars than just the front wheel
and seat belts.


One of my cousin
get her whole car wrecked by another car. She was okay, but the car
was a total mess. This was a freeway accident and she was rushing
towards work. With bad timing to switch lanes, both sides hit each
other and cause a major collision. I also been to accident but not as
major. When I tried to park in a narrow space I accidentally hit the
back of the car and had to report the accident. Whether minor or
major, we should learn from our mistakes and think more while
driving.


To be a better and
safer for others and I, I would make sure that I am healthy.
Psychologically, I need to not be very stressed like going to work
late or being made from a conversation. Physically, I would not drive
for long periods without breaks, make sure the sleep, and be
hydrated. Safe driving is important no matter who you are, because
there will be times when your life will be saved due to a minor but
important decision.
