Driving can very terrifying due to the sole fact that some drivers are reckless. The only way we can truly fix this issue is to educate ourself with the correct driving education that teaches us the proper laws.For examples what to do when we see a person with a white cane walking the streets the proper way to insure that not only they hear the engine but to insure we dont hurt another individual. Some ways we could reduce the number of deaths related to driving is to create cars with strong impact resistance with more air bags not only in the front but the back to protect the people in the back of the car. I have noticed they try to support more in the front of the car but not as much as the back of the car. Also we must insure individuals are really wearing the seat belt correctly aswell with the buckle around our waist and one across our chest. One huge problem i have noticed as well with care safety is that people text or answer calls while driving. When your driving your full attention should be focused on the street and only the street everything else can wait. But since we live in a society that is dependent on our cell phones we should create a program on the phone that is voice operated where we could answer calls while driving with just voice memos instead of loosing our focus on the road and answering a call. We should also increase technology in the cars where the cars system stops the car automatically . Like when they are too close to objects the car would automatically stop when the person is distracted or happens to be texting and driving. Phones should be programed to automatically postpone text messages while driving to decrease the amount of times individuals look away from the road to answer a text message. I remember getting into a really bad accident when I was younger all due to the fact that people were not following safely regulations. I was in 5th grade coming back home from school all excited because i was really hungry and i wanted to eat food. I remember having a good time where out of nowhere our car was hit .Thankfully no one was hurt but what if someone was hurt all because someone ran a red light. Accidents happen and people die but we can decrease those numbers if we really educate ourself with these laws that are placed. I personally have been terrified of driving on the sole fact no matter how safe I am driving the other person may not be driving as safe. I know that personally I would not like to be driving around the streets unless I was sure I would take driving seriously. I think that to improve the amounts of deaths that increase because of accidents individuals must educate themselves first before you try to fix others driving habits.
