Driver education can impact the way many people drive. In my opinion, a person’s driving can only be positively impacted by taking a driver education course with the pros the courses give.
For starters, driver education is ideal for reducing the number of deaths that are as a result of driving. Driver education can give a driver more confidence. In a tough driving situation, a driver that has taken a driver education course is less likely to panic and more likely to keep their cool in situations reducing the risk of making errors. It is important to stay calm and a driver education can give someone the experience to stay calm on the roads.
To reduce the number of deaths as a result of driving, avoid distractions, such as being on the phone. Distractions take away from the priority of driving safely, therefore the person driving is far more likely to crash because they are not focused. Same with driving unrested. A well-rested driver is less likely to crash, because an unrested driver cannot focus on everything going on as much as someone who is rested. This makes them more likely to make errors when driving which can be fatal. Another step is to never drive under the influence. This will for sure cause a driver to be reckless as they are not in control of the way they think. If they cannot control what and how they are thinking, how are they going to control the vehicle in which they are driving? A driver education can help new drivers learn about these issues, which will in turn make them more aware of their decisions when driving.
My family and friends are very aware when driving. As a result of being aware and focused, they have never been in a crash or incident. Whenever I am driving, I minimize the number of distractions and stay aware of what is happening around me. This allows me to make good decisions when driving. Therefore, I have never been close to having a collision so far.
