2025 Driver Education Round 2
Teenage drivers face a lot of danger

However, the wrong group could persuade a person to do irresponsible actions that have consequences which can destroy a teenaged driver's life if they aren’t careful enough to follow the rules correctly. Although the law can sometimes be cruel to those who make mistakes, it is swift to incarcerate you if you aren’t careful enough to at least follow the basic driving rules and instead follow your friends to “drive you off a cliff”. I have a close relative of mine who once was one of these influences on the fourth of July since he was at a party and needed to get home sooner than what was possible he and a friend began hitting the accelerator so fast to the point where they got arrested by a officer and family friend after speeding away from a group of cops trying to lose them on the highway. These types and other types of influence can cause multiple accidents if a person is not around the right and responsible people who are willing to make a person's driving experience safer rather than more dangerous and drive those who are thankful for their help.
One final issue that I’ll mention is that the majority of teenagers who first get their license and more importantly first car they have never had a responsibility even close to this, unless you consider staying alive a responsibility where for most families fall on the parents shoulders for getting the essentials. For the majority of teenagers who are driving they more than likely have two major responsibilities which are graduating from school and more than likely a job in which they have not had ownership of a physical item that measures up to the responsibility of having a vehicle which is the reason why I think teenagers have the hardest time keeping care of their car and more importantly keeping those around them safe. Although there are now many of their party drivers ed courses, school has thrown away the importance of teaching young drivers the basic responsibilities, expenses, and most importantly consequences of owning and driving a vehicle which really explains why there are the most crashes from teenage drivers. This is due to the fact that if the school system doesn’t take time to teach the importance of driving to students they are more than likely not going to listen to their parents about it since school is their only considered time to actually learn things and as a result after they pass their drivers test drive recklessly and cause accidents later on realizing the consequences. In order to fix this issue either the parent has to give the teenager much more responsibility and determination to drive like a responsible adult or the education system has to push out the importance of safe driving and driving laws through mandatory scheduled classes where all high school students learn the importance of safe versus dangerous driving so they keep themselves and others safe on the road.
In conclusion when it comes to safer driving for teenagers a person should put into consideration that most are easily distracted by their phones, some have stupid friends that will land them in stupid places and give them stupid but lawful consequences, and that a teenager hasn’t had this type of responsibility before. The only way we as a society can combat this is to give them resources to hold that technology or mitigate it, make sure they surround themselves with the correct individuals and if not mitigate their influence on them, and finally give them a fighting chance to be prepared for this daunting responsibility. With these factors in place a teenager has no choice but to drive more carefully, but remember anything can happen on the road it’s just up to us to lessen that possibility.
