The Dangers of not being an educated driver
Imagine looking at your local news and seeing that a car accident happened just minutes away from your home. The cause of this accident? Someone who was texting and driving. The dangers of someone who is not educated in driving can cause major repercussions such as injuries or even death to others. About six million accidents happen every year and three million of them end in injuries. This is why you should be educated in driving and be able to learn the laws and every single detail of driving, that way you can avoid such tragedies. For example, in some circumstances a U-turn is legal, but it is also illegal as well. Take for instance the state of Ohio, U-turns are prohibited on curves, or hills if the vehicle “cannot be seen within 500 feet by the driver of any other vehicle approaching from either direction.” If someone does not follow said law and is caught doing so, they will face a minor misdemeanor. This is a penalty for which will result in a $150 fine and also will add two points on their driver's license.
This is another reason as to why a driver should be educated, as if they know the laws, they would know they cannot do such a thing and will not have to worry about getting a fine. An uneducated driver could also cause themselves to get injured or even worse death. For example, if they were to hydroplane off the road and not know what to do, this could end in a very bad result, whether it’d be crashing into a pole or even going off to the other side of the road. If one were to be educated, they would know how to avoid hydroplaning, and if they were to hydroplane, they would know what to do in that situation in order to avoid any accident.
In conclusion, being an educated driver could be the difference between life and death. Just being an educated driver can avoid accidents and could also save you from the law. So always remember to be an educated while driving, as one less uneducated driver can lead to thousands of saved lives.
