Getting to places is a necessary activity that all people do daily. Nowadays we use cars, buses, bikes, airplanes, and other vehicles to get around the world. The most used operating vehicle that humans drive are cars. Cars have many pros, there are many different models and brands of cars you can choose from. Based on the vehicle you buy, there is a max speed limit, comfort modes, exclusive features, and other details of the car, like design. Operating a car can get you fast to your destination, by gas, diesel, or electricity. Driving a vehicle is confusing at the beginning of the driving course, but it feels automatic with more practice, and progress after you have experienced driving your vehicle for a couple of years.
Yes, cars can get you somewhere in the world but will the driver operate the vehicle safely for himself, the passengers, and the people around them? Here are some things about driving safety: use a seat belt and carefully drive to your destination. Sounds easy right? However driving isn't as safe as it seems, especially to the inexperienced young drivers. Since cars have been invented, an estimated 3.5 million people globally have died from fatal car accidents. It is a huge amount of deaths that most of which could have been avoided from. Each year the amount of deaths that are caused by car crashes increases. It is very important to learn to drive safely and try to prevent car accidents to save lives. We can prevent car accidents in many ways; Firstly, we should always watch out for people around the vehicle, they could either be walking in front, rear, or behind your car. You may not always see the pedestrians, especially in the vehicle's blind spots, late at night in the dark, or if you get distracted for even a second. You might knock out/run over a pedestrian without noticing, and it may result in their death. Secondly, be aware of other drivers behavior on the road, if you see a driver unconscious, driving in a wavy line, speeding cars, driving aggressively, or driving off the road, report to the police if necessary. Try to drive around the reckless vehicle carefully at a safe distance away, or switch lanes if possible. Thirdly, speeding cars are in fact a huge cause of car crashes. Many student drivers, young and even adult drivers still speed. Speeding is very dangerous in many ways, it can put you in danger and others at risk. If you were speeding on the road and suddenly something pops up in front of you that you didn't see like an animal, car, or pedestrians you would run into it. This again would result in death, or a serious hospital state, in which is not free and will have to pay for their hospital bills, and other expensive fees and tickets. When a driver speeds it is often that they aren't seriously controlling their speed, and can reach limits that they won't be able to control at all. It is very easy to get into a car accident if the driver isn't controlling the situation, and isn't acting fast, we always need to be more careful in the way we use, and control the car. Just by looking around and being careful can already reduce the number of deaths around driving. We always need to look around and be aware of what is happening around our vehicle before, during and after our drive. That's why you need to always be sure that your car is in great working condition, and all the necessary features like mechanics, electrics, and body are working well. Also, it is very important not to drive under the influence of something, and even if you don't feel well don't drive, you can always ask a family member, friend or a taxi to drive you.
There are so many rules on the roads that everyone has to follow, however many of us break these simple rules. A rule that so many drivers break is the rule of no cell phones during driving. Cell phones are a huge distraction because all of your focus goes onto your screen and not on the road. This is extremely dangerous because you aren't paying any attention to the road and when you do this, you can drive into other drivers. Another simple rule is no driving on a red light. Yes, you can turn right on a red light, but still you need to be careful of other vehicles around you, and only go when the road is clear. Many drivers try to speed through a yellow light to try to make it in time to get to the other road by the time it turns red light. This is a very bad habit, because it may give you a ticket for speeding, and or a ticket for driving on a red light. This rule is very important to follow because while your lane has a red light, the other lanes would have a green light, which would give them the right to drive. If you drive on a red light while you're not supposed to there is a very high chance of you getting into a serious high speed car crash with many vehicles involved.
I am very blessed to not have experience getting involved in any car crashes. Because my family and my parents take it very seriously when it comes to driving, of course they had small incidents, but they were mistakes that they never repeated again. Sadly, I don't drive yet, but I do want to drive as soon as I can. Once I start driving, I will always follow the rules, drive carefully, always control the situations around me, and will always try to react fast to avoid any incidents. The life of a person is very valuable, one fatal car crash can ruin someone's, and their close ones life. So we all need to be extremely careful and focused on the road while driving, to reduce the amount of car accidents globally.
