The Issues of Dangerous Driving

Drivers
education plays a large role in reducing the number of deaths as a
result of driving because there, students and new drivers are taught
how to drive. The are taught the rules of the road, and how to
behave. Without these rules and without new drivers being taught
these rules, they would have no idea how to work and it would be
dangerous to drive anywhere.

In
order to reduce the number of deaths that occur while driving, all
drivers can be sure to actually follow the rules that are put into
place. There’s a reason it is illegal to use your phone while
driving, and drivers should really challenge themselves to not use
it. If you know someone who uses their phone while driving, it would
be smart to talk to them and tell them that you are worried about
their safety and you think that they should stop texting and driving.
Or, if you are in a car with someone and they are on their phones
while driving tell them that if they do not get off of their phone,
you would like to be let out of the car.

I
myself have been in a car accident due to someone driving
irresponsibly. Thankfully, both me and the other driver were okay,
but both of our cars were damaged. The lady who hit me admitted to
not paying attention to the road, and trying to adjust her radio. If
she had not been distracted by the technology in her car, she most
likely would not have hit me, and it would have saved both of us
quite a bit of money.

Driving
is a big responsibility, and when people take advantage of that, it
is unfair to drivers who actually follow the rules of the road. In
order to combat this, everyone should be sure to follow the road
rules themselves, and if you see anyone not following the rules, try
to have a conversation with them that would be sure to make them
change their mind.
