On the other hand, some people may argue that these courses aren't really necessary for the process of getting an official driver's license, which is a really dangerous way of thinking as these accidents change people's lives, making tragedy the centerfold of their minds and souls. Families lose their teenagers tragically because of bad decisions such as texting and driving, which is extremely common in younger drivers daily. In addition, people lose loved ones by drivers recklessly going over the speed limit daily causing fatal crashes. That's why such courses are necessary to combat such behaviors before people get their official licenses, as driving education provides student drivers with well-thought out courses on the consequences of texting and driving, driving under the influence, driving over the speed limit, and how to control the vehicle under severe weather conditions, as well as giving insight on the real-life consequences of ignoring such laws and the real dangers of different situations a driver is put on daily.
In addition, these driving courses are required by law in some states to acquire an official driver's license. These standards save young drivers' lives and should be required everywhere, as they teach responsibility and that negligent driving actions have deadly consequences for them and everyone around. These skill development drive students to learn defensive driving in high-risk situations every day, where they implement vehicle control in situations they wouldn't otherwise be prepared for if they didn't take the course with attention. It improves awareness of their surroundings while driving making sure the student driver is known to be aware of pedestrians, and the cars in front and behind them to be prepared to stop in case of an emergency without causing a crash or running over a pedestrian. This gives the student driver a safety mindset while driving which makes them implement all the safe driving skills they have learned throughout taking the courses while driving day-to-day. As they learn and adapt to the different driving situations they are presented with confidence and caution leading to fewer accidents on the road due to negligent, reckless, uninformed driving.
In conclusion, the importance of driver education is extremely vital to the safety of all drivers, passengers, and pedestrians on the roads today, as it gives driving education knowledge on all aspects of driver responsibility, speed limits, and laws to uphold higher standards in student drivers on the roads in order to prevent deaths as a result of reckless driving. By contributing to and emphasizing these courses a higher fraction of young student drivers will decide to take them with care and seriousness, leading to safer, more well-informed drivers on the road, which helps lessen the number of deaths related to driving accidents, as it prevents reckless driving actions and behaviors new drivers may develop overtime otherwise without taking a course. This all becomes one of the main reasons for tragic deathly accidents that happen every day on the road because of driving negligence. All of these reasons are why it is so important that these driving courses are shown and encouraged to young driving students as they are a direct link to an increase in safe behavior in drivers developing, which leads to fewer driving accident-related deaths, which has become a big rising issue everywhere on the roads and have been increasing over the years with more distractions developing over time to drivers such as texting and cellphone usage while driving, loud music playing in vehicles, passengers talking and more.
