Driver's education has proven to be very useful in everyday lives because it gets everyone to their destination safely, without having to do dangerous acts behind the wheel.As far back as 1975 there have been over 45,000 fatal car accidents ending in high death rates and that can be because of the lack of drivers education. As a result of getting proper driving education it ensures that you are not a danger to those around you and risk the death of you and someone else. Having the proper driving education can actually prepare everyone for serious situations, such as if someone was driving too fast with you in the car and you get them and yourself off the road, and or if someone is around you driving recklessly, you get out of the way ensuring your safety. Small acts like this become beneficial and are guaranteed when the proper drivers education is installed into you.
After getting proper driving education there are still steps that can be taken that can possibly help reduce the number of deaths related to car accidents. Starting with developing the right mindset when it comes to driving, ensuring that you leave out on time so that you are not speeding. Also, not driving behind the wheel with heavy emotions such as anger, sadness,etc. Following laws when driving is to ensure the safety of others, but can often be missed due to lack of awareness. A very important but missed out tip can be limiting the amount of people in your car, most deadly car accidents are sometimes always with more than 2 passengers in the car with the driver. Last step is realizing you do not have to drive fast for other people, you must drive with comfort, Just by knowing you’re getting to your destination no matter how fast.
Most of the people in my family do drive very irresponsible but have all gotten the proper driver education. Which can contradict my two previous paragraphs because even though my family got the education does not mean they stick to it and follow it all the way. My sister sometimes does not put her seatbelt on and sometimes does not abide by the traffic laws such as speed limits and riding people's bumpers. I have friends also who struggle with multiple cases of car ptsd because of irresponsible driving while they were a passenger in someone else’s vehicle. I also have had experiences where I was driving without the proper education and at the time I did feel it was right but then years later I realized how dangerous it could have been. Not ensuring driving safety has put my friends, my family, even myself in situations one does not ever want to be in. I actually have had experiences that have almost lead me to a car accident which is the reason why i drive with so much caution and awareness because almost spinning out in the rain has given me car ptsd, i still can no longer drive to this day in deep rain because of my fear of a car accident. I have driven past some accidents that resulted in death and it hurts to see and it is something no one actually wants to happen to them , which is why driving education is so important.
When it comes to making the right and wrong decision in traffic when driving just make the right decision, if someone is speeding behind you just politely get over if you can. Always remembering to buckle up no matter if you are just going 2 streets over or 2 hours down still ensures your safety. While also keeping in mind you should avoid any distractions while driving rather that being music, your cellphone, etc. Driving does not always mean you are just driving for yourself, it can also mean you have to drive for the others around you as well, some may drive slower or faster than you, some may drive straighter than others. Sharing the road is one of the best steps to take when driving because driving should not feel like a hobby, be nice when driving, having road rage is not the best thing to have and should be avoided by any means necessary. You can always learn new things while driving because you may one day be perfect at driving and the next you may not it's all about being patient with yourself and those around you when driving.
