  Be
a Safer Driver

To
be a safer driver, you must be cautious from your surroundings by
paying close attention to the road. For example, if a person
hypothetically was to drive faster than the speed limit, that can be
dangerous to our pedestrians as well as for other drivers. Learning
this strategy well will help you to be safe. Learning the importance
of drivers ed will help reduce the number of deaths that occur
every day. Otherwise, by changing this, we must practice as a nation
to protect people we don’t know or the people we do love. These
causes will soon go away if we act upon it and focus on the road.
Another example is taking steps for the key factors in driving.

In
fact, the steps that can be taken to reduce risk, are to obey traffic
laws, be predictable, avoid distractions, drive rested, and stay away
from alcohol and drugs. Do these steps, and you will see a change in
making the roads safer for all. Also, the number of deaths is going
to decrease by us following these procedures for ourselves. Without
the rules of regulations, people will be less focused, not cautious,
and dangerous to the people around them. Otherwise, we can reduce the
number of deaths, by communicating with other people on what they can
do better for this issue. Another suggestion could be to get the
government involved, so others can take it more seriously. I’m not
saying people without power, won’t take it seriously, but having
someone that important to the whole nation, will give others the idea
of making changes in their driving abilities. Furthermore, I have had
an experience being in a car accident and I wish it had never
happened to me or my mother.

As
a result, of the accident, it wasn’t our faults, it was from a
careless driver that was uncontrollable because they weren’t paying
attention or looking up. Otherwise, this situation taught me a whole
lot, first always wearing a seat belt, watching other drivers
constantly, and always stop to see where you are going. At this time,
I was only five years old, and all I wanted to do was go to preschool
and play with my friends. Besides, I don’t know what would have
happened that day, if my mom had not protected us. Parents care for
their children, and that’s why you should be understanding to
others, and not selfish. Moreover, since I am experiencing driver
lessons now and about to take the driving test soon, I will follow
the directions which will give me the practice in doing what’s
right for the road. Also, by learning these protective procedures, I
will tell every person that is young drivers or experienced drivers,
to always be safe no matter what. We must change society by doing
better and helping others all the time.
